The Brookland CDC is pleased to announce we will be holding our annual meeting on Monday, June 19, 2006, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Brooks Mansion in the Brooks Room. The evening's program is an exciting one! Please join us as we introduce and welcome our new executive director, Lee Alexander. John McGaw from the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning & Economic Development will give a presentation on the progress of the Historic Brookland Main Street program and will introduce our new program manager, Tom Litke. Upcoming projects and activities will also be presented for the community to provide input and direction as well as participation opportunities.

We were probably both posting at the same time :). I'm glad you posted that update: 1) it's nearly impossible for me to get back this way after getting off of work at 5:30pm-ish, and 2) for some reason I take pages and pages of notes at meetings and then never transcribe them for the site....an odd evolution of procrastination I suppose.
