Blogging the Block

Photo by Dayna Smith for the Washington Post
Yup - that's me. Thanks to the Post, Christina Breda Antoniades, and Dayna Smith for highlighting just a snippet of the hyper-local coverage neighborhood bloggers offer the DC area.

I've been out of town for work the past four days, so it'll take me a bit to catch up on email, RSS feeds, and posting....then I'm off to another conference! June will be somewhat bumpy around here, so thanks in advance for your patience.

  1. I just wanted to say thank you for blogging about the Northeast. I read your blog almost every day and love it.

    Thank you!

  2. it is a great interview and a great photo. Unlike you, I have a face for blogging (kinda like a face for radio).

THanks for the mention, and keep up the great work.

  3. Let me know when you hear from your first stalker!

  4. Hey, congrats on becoming a rock star blogger. And kudos to the Post for recognizing hyper-local blogging.

  5. Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Matt W. - Are you mattwdc? I miss your blog so much! Come back!

  6. Congratulations. You ***ROCK***

  7. Hey punk....did you forget to mention the person that gave you that catchy name "stop blog and roll"? well, just remember to watch your back when you step foot on the westside. Down with woodridge!!! all other nonaffiliated DC areaz/wardz/crewz unite to take on this evil neighborhood!!!
    yeah yeah What?!?

  8. Wow, Chris, I know I'm getting old(er) but I don't specifically remember you coming up with the name - my bad....Everyone, please give props to Chris!

BTW, perhaps you'd condsider showing your love for Glover Park in a more productive manner, um, like a blog ;)
